I’m a bit late to post this, but recently I put together a quick game in less than 48 hours for the Ludum Dare 53 game jam competition. The game I built is called Drone Delivery Service, it is a 2D physics based “platformer” where you control a drone and have to deliver packages to the portals at the end of the level. It is a quick game, I only had time to implement 5 levels, but I really enjoyed the gameplay concept. It was built using Godot 4, which was my first time using the engine. You can play the game here on Itch.io.
I’m thinking about making this into a full mobile game by expanding on the idea with more level interactions and enemies, along with a refined physics based flying and tethering system.
